The Ohio State basketball team is still moving in the right direction. Another week, another set of impressive wins in the ridiculously good Big Ten. This time over Maryland and Indiana.
Ohio State moved up another spot from No. 5 to No. 4 in the Ferris Mowers Coaches Poll powered by USA Today Sports. The Buckeyes vaulted past Villanova after the Wildcats stubbed their toe against Creighton over the weekend.
OSU is showing no signs of slowing down at this point, rising to the occasion against each opponent, week in and week out. The road doesn’t get any easier for the Buckeyes as they’ll travel to Penn State later this week, followed by a showdown in Columbus with the No. 3 ranked Michigan Wolverines.
The Fighting Illini of Illinois find themselves with a No. 5 ranking, giving the Big Ten three teams in the top five. How electric would this Big Ten season be if fans were allowed in the arenas?
