Ohio State football has already had a few names enter the transfer portal, but nothing headline grabbing or unexpected yet. Another name electing to depart Columbus, Ohio, that may not be all the surprising is Mile Walker. The former three-star offensive tackle in the class of 2023 has spent two years as a Buckeye and will be looking for more playing time elsewhere.
The Connecticut native is only a redshirt freshman, so one team is going to get a young guy with a ton of potential. Despite the offensive line having its issues and likely going to see some new faces next season, I completely understand him growing sick of waiting. He has been fairly patient, spending two seasons at Ohio State and not seeing a single snap.
It is a bit interesting that Walker was the only true offensive tackle signed in that class and has now elected to leave.
