This was a tough weekend for Michigan State football fans who watched the Spartans fall at home to Rutgers in a sloppy game. This might put more salt in the wound, but in the lastest Amway Coaches Poll powered by USA TODAY, a few MSU rivals made a jump in the rankings.
Here are some of the key changes in the poll:
- Ohio State jumped two spots after a 52-17 beatdown of Nebraska.
- Wisconsin moves up to No. 11 after a blowout win over Illinois.
- Penn State drops 10 spots after being upset by Indiana. In turn, Indiana jumped 32 spots to make it to No. 19 overall.
- Michigan jumps to No. 14 after beating Minnesota.
