Ohio State football hasn’t ever played these 39 FBS teams. Some are surprising.

Despite its long history of playing college football. Ohio State has yet to play 39 FBS programs. Some are surprising. Here’s the list.

The SEC

Mississippi State

Ole Miss

With all the postseason history between the Big Ten and SEC, it’s hard to fathom that Ohio State hasn’t played every team in sweet tea and grits country. But somehow, both participants in the Egg Bowl haven’t had the pleasure of going toe-to-toe with the Buckeyes.

That’s it. That’s all 39 teams Ohio State hasn’t ever played in the Football Bowl Subdivision. Remember, there are a total of 130 teams currently in the FBS, meaning there have been contests between 91 of those to date. The Buckeyes have played every team in the Pac-12, and of course, the Big Ten when it comes to Power Five conferences.

Which team would you most like to see the Buckeyes play in the upcoming years that we haven’t seen before?
