The Ohio State basketball team limped across the regular-season finish line with another disappointing loss, its fourth in a row. There is no shame in losing to highly ranked opponents, it just stings a little more knowing the game could’ve been won.
The Buckeyes have to close out games if they want to make any kind of run in the Big Ten or NCAA tournaments. It’s pretty much all good teams from here on out. The lack of being able to keep a lead late in the game has caused OSU to fall in the AP Top 25 Poll once again, this time to No. 9.
The Buckeyes will look to get off the snide when they play the first round of the Big Ten tournament against the winner of the Minnesota and Northwestern game. Both the Gophers and the Wildcats bested the Bucks earlier in the season.
POLL ALERT: Gonzaga still No. 1 in bid to go wire-to-wire in AP Top 25; Baylor returns to No. 2, Arkansas up to No. 8.
