Ohio State beats Indiana, moves into virtual tie for first in Big Ten. Three takeaways.

Ohio State was able to win its sixth-straight game by taking care of business against Indiana. Here are three takeaways from the game.

OSU is doing what it needs to do

The really good teams do what they need to do against competition they should beat. That may have been a slight issue earlier in the year with losses to Northwestern and Purdue that got away, but that seems to be a thing of the past.

If Ohio State has designs of staying in the race for the Big Ten crown, beating teams like Indiana at home has to be one it puts in the win column. It did that today by simply playing solid basketball from start to finish and not allowing the Hoosiers to get too close to make this thing a game.

This was drama-free, and just the way you like it for a team that continues to look better and better.
