The Ohio State men’s basketball team is exceeding expectations once again under Chris Holtmann, and it might just be setting the bar in 2019.
The latest AP Basketball Poll has been released and the Buckeyes are all the way up to No. 3, up from last week when they were No. 6. The only two teams now ahead of Ohio State are Louisville and Kansas — two blue bloods of the sport.
OSU has used a deep team with a balanced mix of veterans and young talent to blow almost everyone out this year. It has wins over Cincinnati, Villanova, and on the road against North Carolina already this year. The Buckeyes have put together one of — if not the best — resumes so far of any team in the country.
POLL ALERT: Ohio State jumps to No. 3 in men’s AP Top 25 poll behind Louisville, Kansas; No. 25 San Diego St joins rankings.
