Ohio State basketball adds home-and-home with Texas A&M

Ohio State basketball seems to be beefing up its nonconference schedule this year. #GoBucks

There is still a lot to be determined and communicated with the 2023-2024 Ohio State basketball schedule, but we continue to get some nuggets to fill in some of the gaps.

We’ve already been informed about a neutral site contest with West Virginia this winter, and now, according to Jon Rothstein, it appears as though the Buckeyes have worked out an agreement for a home-and-home two-game series with Texas A&M.

The first game will be this season and will take place on November 10 in Columbus, with the return trip occurring during the 2024-2025 season in College Station, Texas. No date has yet to be provided for next season’s matchup.

It will only be the third and fourth meetings between the two programs with the Aggies holding a 2-0 advantage. The most recent meeting was an embarrassing 70-47 loss for the Buckeyes in Madison Square Garden on November 23, 2007.
