Analyzing Tuesday’s Ohio at Eastern Michigan odds and lines, with college football expert picks, predictions and best bets.

The Ohio Bobcats (2-7, 2-3 MAC) travel to meet the Eastern Michigan Eagles (6-3, 3-2) Tuesday at Rynearson Stadium in Ypsilanti. Kickoff is scheduled for 8 p.m. ET. Below, we look at the Ohio vs. Eastern Michigan odds and lines, and make our expert college football picks, predictions and bets.

The Bobcats pulled off a 35-33 upset against Miami-Ohio last week as seven-point underdogs. Ohio is no longer eligible for a bowl game but it hasn’t quit on the season. Each of the Bobcats’ last four contests have been one-score games.

The Eagles offense has exploded over the past two games, rolling up a 55-24 win at Bowling Green Oct. 23, and a 52-49 win at Toledo last Tuesday as nine-point underdogs. The Over has cashed in three straight games, and five of the last seven overall, for Eastern Michigan.

Ohio at Eastern Michigan odds, lines, picks and predictions

Prediction

Eastern Michigan 41, Ohio 29

Money line

Eastern Michigan (-230) is a little more than I am comfortable playing, especially after Ohio pulled off the upset of Miami-Ohio last week. The Bobcats might not have a great record, but they have shown no signs of throwing in the towel, either.

AVOID.

Against the spread

The better value is EASTERN MICHIGAN -5.5 (-112) in this mid-week MACtion battle. The Eagles offense has been high-flying, averaging 53.5 PPG in the past two games, both on the road.

EMU has racked up 42 or more points in four of its last seven, and Ohio will have its hands full trying to contain QB Ben Bryant and WR Hassan Beydoun. That pass-catch combo hooked up 12 times for 197 yards and two scores last week in Toledo.

Over/Under

The play is the OVER 60.5 (-110), and Eastern Michigan should do a lot of the heavy lifting. The Over has connected in six of Ohio’s last seven Tuesday appearances, while EMU has hit the Over in its past four contests on Tuesday. The Over is also 5-2 in Eastern Michigan’s last seven games overall.
