Another Oregon native is choosing to keep it close to home, with 4-star safety Trejon Williams officially signing with the Oregon Ducks.
Williams, a 5-foot-11 defensive back from Jefferson High School in Portland, ranks as the No. 2 player in Oregon, and the No. 24 safety in the 2022 recruiting class. He has been verbally committed to the Ducks since early in 2021, but declined to sign his national letter of intent during the early signing period, opting instead to get to know the new Oregon coaching staff more and make sure it was the right decision.
Williams will now come to Oregon and help add some depth to a secondary that lost some key pieces this offseason, with Verone McKinely and Mykael Wright heading to the NFL draft, while DJ James left in the transfer portal.
Williams will be part of this impressive group of recruits in the defensive backfield, joining 4-star CBs Jahlil Florence, Jalil Tucker, and Khamari Terrell.
