Browns wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. has tested negative for COVID-19 for a second consecutive day, clearing the way for Beckham to rejoin the team and head to Pittsburgh for Sunday’s game.
The entire Browns team tested negative in the latest round of COVID-19 tests, per Jake Trotter of ESPN. It’s the second consecutive day of zero positive tests across the Browns organization.
Beckham was sent home from Thursday’s practice after experiencing an undisclosed illness. The NFL protocols for COVID-19 demand that a player tests negative twice after experiencing any symptoms that could indicate a possible COVID-19 infection. Beckham tested negative on Friday and again on Saturday, so he is free to enter the team’s training facility in Berea and travel with his teammates for Sunday’s AFC North showdown at Heinz Field.
The Browns have listed Beckham as questionable for the game, one of six players earning that status.
