Former LSU Tigers wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr has been the talk of the NFL recently. He was excused from practice on multiple occasions last week prior to being placed on waivers by the Cleveland Browns.
Reports and conversations surrounding the fact that OBJ wanted to head to a contender. Any team that claimed him would be on the hook for his remaining salary. According to reports from NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport and Mike Garafolo, no team put in a claim meaning that he would become a free agent.

Beckham is looking to go to a contending team in hopes of winning a Super Bowl. According to Jordan Schultz, Beckham desires to go to Green Bay and play with Aaron Rodgers and Davante Adams. That could make a ton of sense for OBJ as the Packers are among the top contenders for the Super Bowl.
