Observations from Charles Bassey, Sixers in SLC summer win over Jazz

Here are some observations as the Philadelphia 76ers knocked off the Utah Jazz in the Salt Lake City summer league win on Wednesday.

The Philadelphia 76ers continued their Salt Lake City summer league tour on Wednesday when they took on the Utah Jazz looking to bounce back from a loss on Tuesday. They would have to do so without the services of Paul Reed, Isaiah Joe, and Jaden Springer who all sat out in this one due to reconditioning.

With those players being out, it allowed others to chine and show off some of their game. It also allowed Trevelin Queen to make his summer debut with the Sixers and it allowed Charles Bassey to do more with Reed sitting out. The result was an 86-82 win over the Jazz with Bassey scoring 17 points and nine rebounds.

Charlie Brown Jr. had 12 points and two steals, Queen had 15 and four rebounds, and Cassius Winston added 11 and six assists. Myles Powell had 13 and four steals off the bench while Julian Champagnie pulled down 10 rebounds for Philadelphia in this one.
