Nyier Daniels breaks down relationship with Rutgers football and Georgia assistant Fran Brown

Nyier Daniels breaks down his official visits to Rutgers and Georgia.

Four-star offensive lineman Nyier Daniels has five visits locked in place, this as one of New Jersey’s top prospects is moving towards a summer decision.

Daniels, a 6-foot-7, 355-pound offensive tackle from Bergen Catholic (Oradell, N.J.), is the second-best player in New Jersey according to 247Sports. ESPN, On3 and 247Sports all have him ranked as a four-star recruit.

He was a huge reason for Bergen Catholic’s undefeated season as they finished the undisputed team in New Jersey football.

As for his official visits, Daniels tells Rutgers Wire on Wednesday that he has “Georgia, Miami, Florida State, Texas and Rutgers planned.” He will be taking these five official visits with an eye, he says, towards deciding in late July or early August at the latest.

“I’m hoping to see where I fit,” Daniels told Rutgers Wire. “It’s like putting on a pair of Nikes, trying to see what fits best and is the best for me.”
Daniels is hoping to decide before his senior season, a decision he says will allow him to focus on his final year of high school football at Bergen Catholic.
