Nuggets’ Bones Hyland inks endorsement deal with Under Armour

Nuggets rookie Bones Hyland this week signed a multiyear shoe and apparel endorsement contract with Under Armour.

Denver Nuggets rookie Bones Hyland this week signed a multiyear shoe and apparel endorsement contract with Under Armour, according to Nick DePaula of ESPN.

Hyland, the 26th pick, joined a slew of first-round picks to sign with an apparel company, and the first known player to join Under Armour from the draft class. He has often been seen wearing Under Armour shoes this season and the two sides were able to finalize a deal.

The 21-year-old is averaging 8.4 points, 2.6 rebounds and 1.9 assists in 40 games this season. He has given the Nuggets strong production off of the bench in spurts, and has impressed his teammates and coaching staff with his energy and effort.

With the signing, Hyland will join the likes of Stephen Curry, Joel Embiid, Patty Mills and Mo Bamba as current NBA players signed with Under Armour. He is emerging as one of the most productive rookie players and was a priority for Under Armour to sign.
