No. 4 Notre Dame will be wearing white when they try and upset the top-ranked Alabama Crimson Tide in the Rose Bowl.
Notre Dame’s uniform has featured several different patches this year as the “RALLY” patch has been worn all year as has the “ACC” patch in the first year of conference play for the Fighting Irish football team.
When the Irish take on the Tide on Friday the uniforms Notre Dame wears will feature a patch they’ve never worn before (we think).

At least as far as we know the jersey patch wasn’t a thing back in 1925 when Notre Dame made their only other appearance in the historic Rose Bowl game.
