Notre Dame will have to fend off teams trying to flip 2026 QB commit Noah Grubbs

The Irish will have to continue to recruit Grubbs even with his commitment

One of the biggest differences since Marcus Freeman took over the Notre Dame football program is its quarterback recruiting.

The Irish have stacked up the room with plenty of talent, potentially more than we have ever seen in South Bend. With that comes other teams trying to flip those commitments, as we already have seen Ole Miss trying to do that with 2025 commit Deuce Knight.

You can now add 2026 Irish verbal [autotag]Noah Grubbs[/autotag][autotag] to that list as a report by 247Sports Bill Kurelic (subscription required) states that he could possibly visit other schools like Ohio State, North Carolina and Florida. However, the story goes on to say that he’s still “helping recruit others to Notre Dame.”

There is still a lot of time until the 2026 can officially sign with a school, so Notre Dame will have to continue to fend off other teams from flipping Grubbs.
