Notre Dame football has done a great job recently of uncovering lower-ranked prospects and coaching them up to be contributors.
Offensive tackle Joe Alt is a perfect example of that, and 2025 Kentucky [autotag]Javeon Campbell[/autotag] could be next in line. The 6-foot, 5-inch and 265-pound defensive end is ranked as the No. 431 overall player and 48th at his position by the 247Sports Composite Rankings trimmed down his list on Monday.
The Irish made the cut, along with Florida, Alabama, Auburn, Miami, Ohio State, LSU, Kentucky and Georgia. It makes you wonder why Campbell is ranked so low with an offer list so impressive, so a re-ranking might happen in the future.

It does look like the Irish are playing catchup in Campbell’s recruitment however, as of the couple official visits he’s set up, none of them are to South Bend.
