Notre Dame senior goaltender Cale Morris is a nominee for the 2020 Hobey Baker Memorial Award. The honor is bestowed each year upon the top player in college hockey, and fans can help decide who wins by voting on the award’s website.

Fans can vote on the first phase of the ballot until March 9. The field will be cut to 10 finalists, which will be announced March 18, and fan voting will be open for the second round until March 29. The Hat Trick Finalists will be announced April 2, and the winner will be revealed during the Frozen Four on April 10.

Morris, who was named an alternate captain for this season, has been the Big Ten’s First Star of the Week twice and the Third Star of the Week once. Over his past five games, he’s stopped 166 of 172 shots faced for a .965 save percentage. His nine career shutouts and 53 wins rank fifth in their respective categories in Notre Dame history.
