Notre Dame will again be without their best defender on Saturday as safety Kyle Hamilton is officially out for the rivalry contest. Hamilton injured his knee in Notre Dame’s win over USC on October 23.
Brian Kelly made that news official during his weekly Monday press conference.
“He’ll be getting his second treatment on his knee today (Monday),” Kelly said, “He’s made really good progress and will be evaluated next week to see if he can return for the Virginia game.”
D. J. Brown and Isaiah Pryor are both listed on Notre Dame’s depth chart at Hamilton free safety position this week.
