Bob Kuechenberg played on Notre Dame’s offensive line in 1966 before getting drafted by the Philadelphia Eagles in 1969. He however quit the Eagles to pursue a career in the Continental Football League.
That lasted just one season however and Kuechenberg would sign with the Miami Dolphins, going on a historic 15 year career with them that included four Super Bowl appearances, winning twice, including being a key part of the 1972 team that remains the only to go unbeaten en-route to a Super Bowl title.
