Notre Dame Football: Injury/COVID-19 Report Pre-Louisville Game

Find out the latest in regards to Notre Dame’s health as they head into their fourth game of the 2020 football season.

Earlier this week we found out that linebacker Paul Moala was lost for the year in the Florida State game when we suffered an injury to his Achilles tendon.

As bad of news as that was in terms of depth, the good news is there are no additional injuries on the roster roughly 50 hours before kick-off against Louisville according to Brian Kelly.

Kelly met the media for the final time before Saturday’s contest and pointed out that Lawrence Keys III, who missed the Florida State game, remains in concussion protocol and won’t be available to play this weekend.

Keys played in the first two games of the season, recording one reception for four yards.

Other than that it’s a clean bill of health for Notre Dame, even in regards to COVID-19.  Kelly went on to state that no players are currently in isolation or in quarantine, a first for Notre Dame since all the way back on September 8.

All things considered it’s a very clean injury report two days ahead of the fourth game of the season for the fourth ranked Notre Dame Fighting Irish.
