Notre Dame beats Marquette in women’s soccer

Unbeaten through four games isn’t half bad…

The Notre Dame women’s soccer team improved to 3-0-1 on the young season Sunday with a 1-0 win at Marquette.

The lone goal came from freshman midfielder Sophia Fisher, the first goal of her Notre Dame career.

Notre Dame dominated the scoring chances and outshot Marquette 18-8 on the day, but only Fisher found the back of the net.

This is the second time in three seasons Notre Dame has gone unbeaten through their first four games and return home to host Purdue on Thursday night.
