  • Now with 5,932 career yards, Taylor needs 68 yards to become the 7th player in FBS history to rush for 6,000 yards (including bowls), and the 1st to do so in just 3 years.
  • Taylor now has 5,932 career yards, extending his record for the most by any player in a 3-year span in FBS history.

  • Taylor scored a touchdown on a 28-yard reception from Jack Coan in the 2nd quarter — his 5th touchdown catch of the season — and added TD runs of 11 yards and 1 yard in the 4th quarter, giving him a nation-leading 25 total touchdowns on the year, the 3rd-highest single-season total in UW history.
  • Taylor now has 54 career touchdowns, trailing only Montee Ball (83) and Ron Dayne (71) all time at Wisconsin.
  • Taylor’s 49 career rushing touchdowns rank behind only Montee Ball (77) and Ron Dayne (71) on the Badgers’ all-time list.
  • Junior QB Jack Coan went 15-for-22 for 280 yards with 2 touchdowns and 0 interceptions. Coan registered the 5th 200-yard passing game of the season and the 2nd-highest single-game total of his career (363 vs. Central Michigan).
  • Junior RB Garrett Groshek had 2 touches for 79 total yards, including a career-long 70-yard catch in the 4th quarter.
  • Redshirt freshman RB Isaac Guerendo made the first kickoff return of his career in the 3rd quarter, accounting for 49 yards of a 56-yard return after taking a toss from Aron Cruickshank.
  • Junior WR Quintez Cephus hauled in 5 catches for 114 yards and a TD, recording his 2nd 100-yard receiving game of the season, and 3rd of his career.
  • Cephus pulled in catches of 31 and 47 (TD) yards on the Badgers’ first drive of the 3rd quarter
  • Cephus has 6 touchdown catches on the season, matching his career high (also 2017)
  • Junior WR Kendric Pryor scored a 26-yard touchdown on a jet sweep in the 3rd quarter, his 2nd rushing TD of the season (and the 5th of his career).
  • Junior FB Mason Stokke had 2 carries for 14 yards and set career-highs with 3 catches for 30 yards.
  • Junior DE Garrett Rand recorded the 2nd sack of his career in the 4th quarter, forcing a fumble by Minnesota QB Tanner Morgan.
  • Senior OLB Zack Baun had a team-high 9 tackles and recorded a pair of sacks, giving him 11.5 on the season. Baun also finished with 2.5 tackles for loss, giving him a team-high 18.5 TFLs on the season.
  • Senior ILB Chris Orr recorded a half-sack in the 2nd quarter to also increase his total to 11.5 on the season.
  • Baun and Orr moved into a tie with T.J. Watt (2016) for 5th on the Badgers’ single-season sacks list.
  • Baun and Orr combine to give Wisconsin multiple players with double-digit sacks in a season for just the 2nd time in school history (Tarek Saleh had 14.0 and Bryan Jurewicz 10.0 in 1996).
  • Senior ILB Chris Orr recorded a half-sack in the 2nd quarter to increase his total to 11.5 on the season, moving him into a tie with T.J. Watt (2016) for 5th on the Badgers’ single-season list.
  • Junior ILB Jack Sanborn recorded a sack in the 2nd quarter, giving him 4.5 on the season.
  • Junior CB Caesar Williams posted his second career interception and tallied a career-high 4 passes broken up.
  • Williams made back-to-back pass breakups on 3rd-and-goal and 4-and-goal plays in the 4th quarter, halting a 14-play, 71-yard Minnesota drive at the Gophers’ 4 yard line.
  • Junior S Eric Burrell finished with 8 tackles and a career-best 3 passes broken up.
  • Senior K Zach Hintze was a perfect 6-for-6 on kicks, including a 26-yard field goal and the first 5 extra points of his career.
