Isaiah Crumpler is all-in on Rutgers football, the three-star wide receiver from North Carolina already trying to make an impact just hours after committing to the Scarlet Knights. Over the weekend, Crumpler went on social media to help Rutgers land Caden Brown.
A three-star defensive lineman from Erasmus Hall (Brooklyn, N.Y.), Brown announced his top four on Saturday and it included Rutgers alongside Michigan State, Maryland and Penn State.
Crumpler, who committed to Rutgers on Friday night, wasted no time in trying to grow the 2024 recruiting class. Minutes after Brown’s top four was released, Crumpler was on the standout defensive lineman to join him with the Scarlet Knights.

“Well, I was putting something for him to be encouraged by, but he should know that Rutgers is a place where they stick by a culture that is set in stone,” Crumpler told Rutgers Wire.
“Rutgers is a place for football players that love football.”
Brown is a big-time recruit. He is a consensus top-five player in New York and is a four-star recruit according to On3. Rutgers has made him a priority recruit for this class.
Crumpler is also a legitimate impact player for Rutgers.According to On3, he is a four-star recruit and a top five player in North Carolina. He committed to Rutgers on Friday night via a post on his social media.

It was a standout junior season for Crumpler in 2022 as he had 55 catches for 614 yards and five touchdowns for D.H. Conley (Greenville, N.C.).
He is the eighth verbal in the 2024 recruiting class and the sixth player to commit on offense.
