North Carolina lands another offensive lineman out of transfer portal

The UNC football program landed another offenisve lineman out of the transfer portal on Monday.

Mack Brown hoped that North Carolina would be able to land a few additions in the transfer total this offseason. The head coach even revealed what they were targeting in terms of positions and among them was the offensive line.

On Monday, the Tar Heels added another offensive lineman out of the portal with the addition of Zach Greenberg. The Division III lineman from Muhlenberg College out of Pennsylvania. He spent three seasons there before deciding to transfer and picked up offers from  Akron, Connecticut, East Carolina, Georgia Southern, Georgia State, Troy, UAB, Villanova, and Western Michigan.

The 6-foot-4, 290-pound Greenberg becomes the third offensive lineman to join UNC this offseason, an area in which they are looking to add depth.

In total, UNC has added seven players out of the transfer portal with the addition of Greenberg. It’s tough to tell now where everyone will project on the offensive line but the Tar Heels offense will have a new look as well.
