No. 4 Notre Dame bests Georgia Tech: 5 Takeaways

What was there to takeaway from Saturday’s 31-13 Notre Dame win at Georgia Tech? We do exactly that right here as it’s now Clemson week.

Domination Despite Score

Maybe a certain portion of the public wasn’t happy with Notre Dame’s performance in the 31-13 win on Saturday and like I stated earlier, it had plenty of sloppiness to it.

That said, Notre Dame dominated this game and had it not been for the Kyren Williams fumble you’re looking at a blowout.  That play instead kept things at least semi-interesting despite the Irish dominating the rest of the first half.

Although the score was only 17-7 at halftime and things really didn’t go completely south for Georgia Tech until the Daelin Hayes forced fumble in the second half, Notre Dame held the Yellow Jackets to all of 66 yards in the first two halves of the game.

Now you have to finish drives, not miss open touchdowns and not turn the ball over but this game saw Notre Dame in complete control of things despite not having nearly as fine of showing as the week previous.

That all said, it was this week’s game and it was the game before “The Game” and a victory was had.  Which brings me to my final point…

It’s Clemson Week
