The Texas Longhorns beat the TCU Horned Frogs 70-55 on Saturday and are now 13-5 on the season. This is the team’s second straight win after a 1-4 rough stretch prior.

The Longhorns kept a halftime lead after impressive shooting performances from Andrew Jones and Greg Brown. In the second half, the team’s lead and overall performance only grew.

The only one of TCU’s players who had been a scoring threat, R.J. Nembhard, was held to only five points in the second half where he shot 1-5 in the final 20 minutes.

On top of that, Texas had four players score in double digits with Jones, Brown, Matt Coleman III and Jericho Sims.

The Longhorns basketball team will look to continue their win streak next week in a revenge game against the No. 12 ranked Oklahoma Sooners who beat the Longhorns in Austin four games ago.
