No. 10 Tennessee defeats No. 22 Auburn in four sets

Tennessee defeats Auburn in four sets for 11th consecutive win.

No. 10 Tennessee (16-1, 7-0 SEC) defeated No. 22 Auburn, 25-19, 21-25, 25-21, 25-17, Friday in Thompson-Boling Arena at Food City Center.

Friday’s win is the 11th consecutive for the Lady Vols.

Morgahn Fingall recorded 21 kills, 12 digs and three blocks for Tennessee.

Erykah Lovett totaled 13 kills, 17 digs, two blocks and one assist for the Lady Vols.

Jenasiya Moore recorded 13 kills and Caroline Kerr was the Lady Vols’ leading passer with 45 assists.

Friday’s contest between Tennessee and Auburn had an attendance of 2,575, the fourth largest home crowd in program history.

The Lady Vols will next play on Sunday against Kentucky in Thompson-Boling Arena at Food City Center. First serve is slated for 5 p.m. EDT and will be televised by SEC Network.
