Nike has not missed a beat in its campaign featuring Iowa Hawkeyes’ superstar guard and future WNBA No. 1 pick Caitlin Clark. As one of Nike’s college athletes, Clark has been the biggest story in college basketball this season and is getting the much-deserved treatment.
Nike, the worldwide athletic shoe giant, has never been afraid to stamp its name on players via massive ad campaigns. Clark is the latest athlete getting her appropriate time to shine. Upon breaking the scoring record, Nike released the “You break it, you own it” slogan tied to Clark.
That was followed by an ad in Times Square. This time, Nike launched an ad campaign in the epicenter of the Caitlin Clark craze.
Nike unveiled a 7-story advertisement of Iowa #Hawkeyes women's basketball guard Caitlin Clark March 2, 2024, along Burlington Street in Iowa City.
