On Wednesday, Alabama head coach Nick Saban and former Alabama quarterback Nick Saban reunited at the Senior Bowl in Orlando, Florida.

Hurts finished his career at Alabama with 5,965 yards, 48 TDs, and 12 INT. This season, as a senior at Oklahoma, Hurts put up his best numbers yet. He finished the season with 3,851 yards, 32 TDS, and 8 INT.

Saban also spoke to the media on Wednesday, and had this to say about Jalen Hurts:
“Well, there’s a lot of guys playing in the NFL now that are having a lot of success that are similar style players to Jalen, guys that can make plays with their feet. I think you know who they are. So I think that success of those players has kind of broken the stereotype of you got to be a drop-back passer or this is the only way you can win in the NFL. You see Mahomes, the guy at Baltimore. All these guys are athletic guys who can make plays with their feet, create a lot of problems for the old stereotype NFL defense.”
