Nick Chubb leaves Browns practice after being tackled by his neck

Initial reports from the Browns live stream indicate Chubb “looked good” walking off with trainers

The first padded practice of the 2020 Cleveland Browns training camp offered the first real scary moment for the team. Star running back Nick Chubb left the practice field in Berea with an apparent neck injury.

Chubb was running on a play and got tackled up high by LB Mack Wilson on the sideline. He stayed down after the tackle and trainers quickly attended to Chubb.

Nathan Zegura of the Browns Live stream noted that “Chubb looked good” as he walked away with trainers, a statement affirmed by co-host Josh Cribbs.

The field conditions were slick with rain but that did not appear to play into Chubb’s injury.
