NHL player gets very special toilet paper delivery by drone

It’s more valuable than gold these days.

All across America, hoarders have emptied supermarkets and stores of every day items like, soap, water and toilet paper. Though companies are eager to assure us that there has, so far, been no disruption in the supply chain, people are still stock piling the essentials to a criminal degree, leaving very little for their fellow consumers.

This kind of hoarding means that toilet paper these days is very hard to come by and unless you were one of the lucky ones to snag a 12-pack of Charmin before self-isolation became the rage, you could find yourself in a bit of a pickle, like the Los Angeles Kings’ Jeff Carter.

In a video posted to Twitter on Sunday evening, Carter’s wife Megan showed the couple getting a very special drone delivery from Kings’ teammate Alex Iaffalo.

On Twitter, Megan said they had no idea what was in the container, and that it came as a total surprise.

Truly, that video is a little cinematic masterpiece, from the anticipation to Carter’s tentative approach of the drone to the final reveal. We should all be so lucky to have friends who would fly in extra toilet paper to us when we need it.[vertical-gallery id=902547]
