NFLDraft: Eagles miss out on CeeDee Lamb as WR heads to the Cowboys at No. 17 overall

Dallas Cowboys land CeeDee Lamb in the NFL Draft

The Philadelphia Eagles acquired Darius Slay via trade and they’ll need him after the Dallas Cowboys selected the former Oklahoma All-American at No. 17 overall.

Lamb was a first-team All-American after a season that saw him post 62 receptions for 1,327 yards and 14 touchdowns. The 6-foot-2, 190-pound receiver, who’ll turn 21 in April, could give the Eagles fits as defensive coordinator Jim Schwartz will now have to game plan for Lamb, Cooper, and Michael Gallup.

The Eagles currently still have Justin Jefferson, Brandon Aiyuk and Justin Jefferson still on the board.
