The Christian McCaffrey show showed no signs of slowing down in Week 4 against the Arizona Cardinals. After punching in an early touchdown in the first quarter for his thirteenth consecutive game with a score, McCaffrey returned to the end zone again, again and again on Sunday.
The former Stanford Cardinal standout was all over the field against Arizona. As the 49ers tallied 35 points on their way to their fourth consecutive win, McCaffrey tacked on four touchdowns against the Cardinals— yes, four.
McCaffrey put a smile on the face of his fantasy managers as he piled on in the boxscore while fueling Kyle Shanahan’s offense against Arizona. The 49ers’ rusher ran for 106 yards on 20 carries to go along with three touchdowns. McCaffrey added a team-high seven catches for 71 yards and a score through the air.
His performance against the Cardinals marked his first four-score game and it also tied him for the second-most in a single game in franchise history.
