Even after 12 years as one of the best linebackers in the NFL, the league is still sleeping on Lavonte David.
Longtime defensive captain of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, David has been a Hall of Famer on the field for more than a decade, even if awards and accolades have gone to less-deserving peers.
The latest example of David still being one of the most underrated players in the league? Coming in at No. 99 on NFL Network’s “NFL Top 100” list, which has started to be revealed this week.
Anyone who watched the Bucs closely last year would know that there aren’t 98 players in the league better than No. 54.
