NFL standings 2023: Jaguars still on top of slumping AFC South

The Jaguars’ tenuous grasp of the AFC South lead held despite their Week 14 loss.

The Jacksonville Jaguars’ tenuous hold on first place in the AFC South held for another week, despite a 31-27 loss to the Cleveland Browns.

After entering Week 14 with a one-game lead in the division over both the Indianapolis Colts and the Houston Texans, losses for the top three AFC South teams kept the Jaguars out in front. Only the last place Tennessee Titans managed to pull off a win, despite playing the toughest competition.

With the tiebreaker in hand, Jacksonville doesn’t need to do much to secure the division title. The losses can’t kept stacking up, though.
