The Buffalo Bills and NFL are getting after it at the 2020 NFL Scouting Combine this week. The annual event ahead of that year’s NFL Draft is… rather uneventful.
Let’s be honest, there’s little actual football being put on display, but prospects entering the draft are giving in their all in the yearly event held in Indianapolis. At every combine, players get up at the podium and typically tell a group of reporters which teams they’ve met with.
Throughout the combine this week, Bills Wire will keep a tracker of which prospects have said they’ve met with the Bills this week. Players can do so following the combine as well via pre-draft visits, but in Indy, many quick and “informal” chats with players will be scheduled.

WR KJ Hill | Ohio State
The Bills have met with KJ Hill, according to 13WHAM’s Jenna Cottrell. Via his career as a Buckeye, Hill said he’s “not afraid to play in the cold.” Hill is not the prototypical typical wideout prospect many peg for the Bills, though. He’s likely going to play a slot receiver role in the NFL, where Buffalo already has the likely of Cole Beasley, among others.
WR Lynn Bowden | Kentucky
Buffalo offensive coordinator Brian Daboll loves his trick players, think of Isaiah McKenzie. Kentucky’s Lynn Bowden, who said he’s met with the Bills, can quite literally do it all. Clearly he can line up as a playmaker on offense, but also has played QB and returned kicks. He won the Paul Hornung Award as the nation’s most outstanding all-purpose player.
WR KJ Hamler | Penn State
Another smaller, not exactly the type of wide receiver the Bills need, met with Buffalo, per WIVB-TV. Hamler does provide versatility as a ball catcher, most likely from the slot, and return man. He also has coveted speed. In college, he suffered an ACL tear in 2017 as well.
TE Dalton Keene | Virginia Tech
After missing out on Greg Olsen, the Bills aren’t sitting on their hands. The Bills are meeting with tight ends at the combine, starting with VT’s Dalton Keene, via WIVB. He caught 59 catches for 748 yards and eight scores in college, and is looking to get Virginia Tech back on the draft board. Virginia Tech’s streak of 25 straight years with at least one player taken in the draft ended last season. Among the most recent ones that was draft? Bills linebacker Tremaine Edmunds in 2018.
