NFL Picks Week 10: An end to the upsets and misplaced (?) faith in the Raiders

Which Week 10 straight-up picks do we like? Which ones do we hate?

Week 10 is a bounce-back opportunity. The Dallas Cowboys, Buffalo Bills, and Los Angeles Rams are all heavy favorites this weekend (and Monday) after losing listless games against underdog opponents.

So will this be the week the universe corrects itself and these Super Bowl hopefuls emerge from the muck with a thirst for blood? Or will parity continue to wash over the league in a way Paul Tagliabue once limited to his wildest dreams?

I’d love to say I know the answer, but Week 9 dropped a Jacksonville Jaguars win in our laps. Over the Buffalo Bills. In a game where they scored zero touchdowns.

Nothing is predictable. Everything is, at least a little bit, chaos. We know this because the Ravens went down to Miami and allowed the Dolphins to, somehow, build a winning streak.

Below you’ll find the picks I like, picks I don’t, one very dumb upset this week — and of course — the now infamous Rhody Scumbag Lock of the Week (now 2-3 thanks to the Chiefs’ continued cycle of confidence-draining wins!). Want the full lineup? Those can be found here.

After calling for a return to chalk last week and being rebuffed, I’ve decided I’ve learned nothing. I’ve only got one underdog in this week’s slate of selections. I’m already 0-1.

Let’s talk about it. All odds via Tipico.
