On Thursday, the Pittsburgh Steelers announced their 2021 training camp would be split between Heinz Field and their Pittsburgh training complex but would not return to Saint Vincent College. This is due to the league’s decision about COVID-19 protocols. The Steelers submitted a protocol plan for Latrobe but it was rejected by the league.

2020 marked the first time in 54 years the Steelers didn’t hold their annual training camp in Latrobe. According to the team, some fans will be permitted but the logistics of this have yet to be finalized.
