NFL moving toward changes to 2020 NFL draft due to coronavirus

The NFL continues to adjust its offseason to account for the coronavirus pandemic.

With growing concerns over the coronavirus pandemic, professional sports leagues are reacting in drastic ways. This has spilled out on a limited basis in the NFL but there could be more coming.

According to the Dallas News, Las Vegas Raiders owner Mark Davis did admit the league is closely monitoring the situation with the coronavirus and how it could impact the 2020 NFL draft.

It’s all speculation at this point but with the NBA suspending the rest of its season anything is possible. How would the draft look if they cannot make it the TV spectacle of the past? It might end up being all held at the team’s facilities and done via satellite.

Worries over the coronavirus have already forced many NFL teams to adjust their pro day travel and could further impact prospect visits and day to day business by the NFL on a grand scale.
