NFL fans were irate the Jaguars didn’t get a cart for Trevor Lawrence after his ankle injury

Why on Earth was Trevor Lawrence not in a cart after his injury?

Another marquee NFL quarterback has gone down with an injury.

Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence left Monday night’s home game against the Cincinnati Bengals with an ankle injury after it seemingly got stepped on by Bengals defensive end Trey Hendrickson.

The sight is sickening for Jaguars fans and all fans who are deflated to see yet another one of the league’s bright young stars leave the game with an injury.

However, it’s what happened after Lawrence got hurt that really shocked a lot of folks. Rather than get a cart to drive the Jaguars quarterback to the locker room for medical attention, Lawrence hobbled there himself.

He only had two people holding him up, one of them a law enforcement official in attendance.

A multibillion-dollar sports franchise not being able to get a cart to take its franchise quarterback to the locker room just makes no sense whatsoever.

Making Lawrence hobble his way from the field to the locker room just felt completely unnecessary, and NFL fans had no idea what Jacksonville was doing by making him walk. Getting a cart just felt so easy and automatic.
