The Los Angeles Rams will be among four NFL teams — along with the Falcons, Bucs and Browns — to go through a complete uniform change for the 2020 season. That includes a new logo and colors.
And two weeks ago, fans got an early look at what the Rams’ new logo was expected to look like when an NFL Draft cap leaked on Twitter. The reaction to that logo was incredibly negative with many pointing out that the logo could have easily been confused with a Los Angeles Chargers logo.
While the Chargers had previously scrapped a logo amid negative feedback, the Rams are deciding to stick with the much-maligned logo. They unveiled the new logos and colors on Monday with a social media video.

As you can see, the primary logo — with more defined colors — was what leaked two weeks ago. The Rams will also have a secondary logo of an old-school Rams head.
But still, they decided to scrap the widely popular Rams logo that they’ve had for decades — the same logo that their $5 billion stadium is going to be shaped like.
Has anybody else noticed that the new @RamsNFL stadium is actually shaped exactly like the #Rams logo!! Pretty brilliant. #Ramily

As expected, two weeks did not do any favors to the Rams from NFL fans.

It takes a lot for the entire internet to agree on something. It unanimously agreed that this new logo was terrible, and the Rams decided to stick it. Thank you LA. Thank you for your bravery https://t.co/w7Yv3qUSbd

The fact that a group of people all sat together in a room over the course of who knows how much time and emerged from it all collectively thinking that this was a good idea is an embarrassment to human beings https://t.co/KDo0pIWmMQ

My god it is beautiful, meaning it is uglier than in even my wildest imagination. I, too, love the "$10 hat from Walgreens in 2002" vibe. https://t.co/iChWAWVs6g

In these trying times, let us come together to roast the hell outta this logo we'll all just end up getting used to three games into the regular season. https://t.co/7OzCCc2ack

Time to go back to the drawing board, Rams.
