The morning sports yelling shows are broadcasted each day on TV with people yelling at each other about topics and takes that are often so forgettable they sail off into the morning air and are out of our minds before we settle down for lunch.
But every now and then there is a take that is so bad that it lights up social media and is remembered for much more than a day.
That happened on Tuesday when Chris Broussard went on FS1’s First Things First and blamed the Buffalo Bills loss to the Titans on the fact that Buffalo’s “Pro Bowl left tackle, Taylor Lewan was injured” which led to Josh Allen coming up short on his QB sneak on fourth down in the final seconds of the game.
Here’s the problem with that, though – Lewan plays for the Titans. He’s actually played for the Titans for his entire 8-year NFL career. Lewan did leave last night’s game with an injury but again, he plays guard for the Titans so that didn’t have anything to do with the Bills’ final play.
Check out this clip. It’s art:
The only reason the Titans won is because the Bills were missing injured left tackle Taylor Lewan, per @Chris_Broussard pic.twitter.com/XXGLWyPGxB

My favorite part about that is how confidently he said “I WONDER WHY???” Like he was about to drop some very good knowledge on us and we were all going to be high-fiving him through our TVs.
Instead, he was oh so wrong and fans had fun making fun of him:
