The fourth Badger in the 2020 NFL draft is off the board. With the No. 166 overall pick, Wisconsin wide receiver Quintez Cephus is headed to the Detroit Lions.
Cephus is coming off of a career junior season where the Georgia native racked up 901 total receiving yards to go along with seven touchdowns. Around the Big Ten and the country, the Badger WR earned high praise from his peers. The No. 3 overall pick, and first overall selection by the Detroit Lions, CB Jeff Okudah out of Ohio State called Cephus the best receiver he played against in college. Now the two former Big Ten foes team up in Detroit.

Despite questions about speed and burst, Cephus is as physically strong as any receiver in this class and really improved his route running this past year in Madison. Cephus links up with longtime Lions QB Matthew Stafford, and will have opportunities to make an impact right away with Detroit looking to sure up their receiving corps.
