Colin Kaepernick was one of the top dual-threat quarterbacks in the league. He guided the 49ers to a Super Bowl. Kaepernick played college ball at Nevada and was the 36th overall selection. His career came to an abrupt halt when he opted out of his contract after being told SF was going to release him in the 2017 offseason. Kaepernick’s activism has been a source of controversy and he has not been signed by another team.
