Samuel Cosmi, OT
Cosmi is an elite run-blocker with the length and body control to be a starter at either tackle spot. He drives defenders into the dirt and can keep the bull-rush from the outside at bay for the quarterback long enough for a play to be made.
However, his biggest issues stem from his footing when he goes up against faster, more athletic rushers on the outside who can cross his face or maneuver around him. It would be best if he was taken by a team who needs an immediate right tackle, rather than on the quarterbacks blindside. A team looking to not only bolster the line, but to help boost the running game as well.
He likely won’t get taken until the later half of the first round (at the earliest) but there’s plenty of teams that could use his services.
