There are 2 games left to find out who will be playing in the Super Bowl in Phoenix Feb. 14. Championship Sunday is usually one of the best NFL days of the season. So, let’s finish up the season strong.

After looking at Tipico Sportsbook’s NFL Championship Games odds, here’s my weekly “Let’s make some money” NFL parlay bet to cash in on among SportbookWire’s NFL expert picks and predictions.

After 282 opening kickoffs, there are just 3 games left to determine the next Super Bowl champion. Sunday features 2 of those games:

The Philadelphia Eagles (15-3) host the San Francisco 49ers (15-4) in the NFC Championship Game, while the Cincinnati Bengals (14-4) visit the Kansas City Chiefs (15-3) for the AFC title.

With just 2 games this week, we’re only making a 2-play parlay.

NFL Championship Week: Let’s make some money parlay

Odds provided by Tipico Sportsbook; access USA TODAY Sports Scores and Sports Betting Odds hub for a full list. Lines last updated on Thursday at 11 p.m. ET. Both games Sunday and ET.

Leg  1: EAGLES -2.5 (-115) vs. 49ers – 3 p.m. (FOX)

The Eagles had an easy time in their 38-7 Divisional Round dismantling of the New York Giants. While covering as 8-point home favorites, they ran for 268 yards. This will not be the result against the 49ers, who feature one of the better defenses against the run. However, expect the Eagles running backs to gain some good yardage on the ground behind an offensive line that will open holes in the 49ers defense.

San Francisco ranked 1st in the NFL in total yards allowed per game during the regular season (300.6) and 2nd in rushing yards allowed per game (77.7), but the defense struggled against the pass, ranking 20th in passing yards allowed per game (222.9). The Eagles averaged 241.5 passing yards per game to rank 9th. They’ll look to use this advantage to mitigate the lack of run game which will be likely.

With San Francisco’s Brock Purdy looking to be the first rookie QB in NFL history to win a Championship Game, doing so against Philadelphia’s pass rush is a tall task. The Eagles recorded a league-best 70 sacks this season. They’ll get to Purdy a few times Sunday.

Eagles LB Haason Reddick, who finished the regular season with 16 sacks, will have a tough time going against first team all-pro OL Trent Williams of the 49ers. But Reddick has help. Philadelphia set an NFL record with 4 players recording 10 or more sacks. If Reddick can’t get to Purdy, DLs Brandon Graham, Javon Hargrave, Josh Sweat — each had 11 sacks during the regular season — and others will.

Purdy will finally struggle and the complete team in Philadelphia will win this game by the 3 points needed to cover the 2.5-point line.

Plus, the favorite in this head-to-head series has covered in 7 of the last 10 meetings. Sunday will make it 8 out of 11.

Leg  2: BENGALS (+100) at Chiefs – 6:30 p.m. (CBS)

This one is quite simple. If Kansas City QB Patrick Mahomes was fully healthy, this line would be closer to Kansas City -4. Due to the unsure nature of Mahomes, this line has been moving all week.

After opening Chiefs -3, the line quickly moved down and eventually got to Cincinnati -2.5 before reverting to K.C. -1.5. Either way, I like the Bengals to win outright. With the Chiefs being favored, this gives me more money to make on the moneyline rather than taking the spread — with the -110 juice – if I were to bet the same amount.

Cincinnati QB Joe Burrow is 3-0 against Mahomes and the Chiefs in his career. All 3 of the wins have come since December 2021 with the most important being last season’s AFC Championship Game, a 27-24 overtime victory as 7-point underdogs in Kansas City. The difference this time is the status of Mahomes, who was healthy a year ago but won’t be 100% for this one. The Chiefs will be forced to rely on the run game. The Bengals defense ranked 7th against the run during the regular season, allowing 106.6 yards per game, while the Chiefs offense ranked 20th at 115.9 yards per game.

The Bengals will throw all over the Chiefs. WRs Ja’Marr ChaseTee Higgins and Tyler Boyd, TE Hayden Hurst and the RB duo of Joe Mixon and Samaje Perine will be able to extend drives and keep the Chiefs offense off the field while also tiring out the K.C. defense. Cincinnati will get out to an early lead and will be able to hold on to gain the outright victory.
