Henry Ruggs III – Las Vegas Raiders
Ruggs was a quite, yet dangerous receiver for Nick Saban and the Crimson Tide in his three seasons with the team. His speed and hands were a combo that made Ruggs worthy of being the first receiver selected in the 2020 NFL draft.
Best case scenario:
“Ruggs emerges as a deep threat for Derek Carr and also provides big plays in the return game,” writes Jeremiah. “The Raiders find creative ways to get the ball in his hands (fly sweeps, reverses, etc.) and his presence creates more space for Josh Jacobs to run the ball.”
Worst case scenario:
“He has his share of splash plays, but the volume of touches is very limited. His speed benefits the offense, but his stats don’t jump off the page.”
Jeremiah predicts Ruggs will finish his rookie season with 44 receptions, 800 yards and six touchdowns.
