SoFi Stadium will get plenty of exposure this summer when the Rams and Chargers are both featured on HBO’s “Hard Knocks.” It’s set to open in time for the Rams’ preseason opener against the Saints on Aug. 14, with construction ongoing both inside the venue, and on the exterior.
SoFi Stadium is only part of Hollywood Park, which is the surrounding development that spans about 300 acres of parks, shopping, restaurants and a brewery. It will also be home to NFL Media’s headquarters, which will be right next to SoFi Stadium itself.
In new drone footage shared on YouTube, we get a good look at the surrounding area of SoFi Stadium – including the lake outside the building. It also shows the exterior of SoFi Stadium, which is nearing completion.
As you can see, trees have been planted, parking lots have been created and the performance venue, American Airlines Plaza, is still being worked on under the canopy of the stadium.
The game-day experience at SoFi Stadium, from tailgating to fan events in Hollywood Park, is going to be phenomenal.
